Job Description:

• Experienced Engineering Checker to evaluate and investigate pertinent design factors on F-16 retrofit and production engineering design, 3-D models and drawings including all related design data.
• Identify design compatibility errors and verify all features are of one interpretation, complete and adequate for downstream users.
• Ensure the engineering design, models/drawings and related data meet all contractual, company, and Program requirements.
• Utilize working knowledge and application experience of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing based on ASME Y14.5 along with ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices.
• Utilize working knowledge and application experience on a computer aided design system with 3D experience. Successful candidate must be able to work in a model centric environment and should be efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite.
• Very detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where critical and tight schedules are common and must be met with quality results.

Basic Qualification:

• CATIA experience
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 Drawings, and Y14.5 GD&T, prior drawing and model checking, design, and engineering change process experience.
• Successful candidate must be able to work in a model centric environment and should be efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite.
• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment where critical and tight schedules are common and must be met with quality results.

Required Skills:

• BS Degree in Engineering (mechanical, aeronautical, chemical, etc)
• CATIA experience
• Experience with ASME Y14.100 Drawings, and Y14.5 GD&T, prior drawing and model checking, design, and engineering change process experience.
