Job Description:
• Performs manual labor handling, transporting, and preparing waste drums collected from around the facility for disposal.
• Requires the use of hand trucks, forklifts, other vehicles around facility to picking up and transport waste drums to collection area.
• Helps prepare waste for shipment offsite.
• Helps maintain housekeeping around the environmental yard and wastewater treatment facility.
• Assist wastewater treatment operator with general tasks around wastewater treatment process.
• Conducts inspections of hazardous chemical lockers and assist with assembly, movement, and installation of equipment to support the Environmental Safety and Health team.
• Prior forklift, RCRA waste handling experience
