Job Description:
• Subject matter expert for thermal Analysis including but not limited to Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Thermomechanical Analysis (TMA) .
• Perform testing and failure analysis on materials supporting engineering and production of aircraft.
• Support other groups within the lab as needed to perform various types of investigative analysis and tests. Be proficient and will use the following laboratory preparation, testing and analysis techniques:
• DSC
• TGA
• TMA
• DMA
• Rheology
• Failure Analysis of Polymers
• Failure Analysis and Detailed Report Preparation
