Job Description:
PowerBuilder Developer-Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data.
T-SQL Query Writing-Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database. Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data.
Data Management-Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis.
Source Control-Must have experience working with other developers utilizing source control.
Unit Testing-Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes.
Documentation-Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams.
Testing-Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios.
Production Support-Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.
Change Management-Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes.
Requirement Gathering-Capable of working with clients to gather requirements and ensure functionality meets the needs of the agency
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
PowerBuilder Development (version 2017 or higher)
Work in a hybrid office and home environment. (Two days a week in-office)
Willingness to learn.
Proven ability to work in a team environment.
Capable of picking up and deciphering code with minimal guidance
